Send Katie a NoteAbout Me
I recently started this journey when an aneurysm of the ascending aorta was found as an incidental finding on a CT when I went in with abdominal/chest pain 3 weeks postpartum in late October.
Since then I have had an ECHO done and was also diagnosed with a BAV.
I've met with one Cardiothoracic Surgeon who has told me I will need to have my aorta replaced and likely my valve as well sometime down the line.
I am currently awaiting a consult for a second opinion.
