I have know for years this day would come my dad had the same defective aortic valve and passed away 13 years ago of heart failure inlarged heart. I have had Echoes every year and my last one showed severe stenosis. I am only 55 and was thinking maybe this would happen in my 60's but it's hear now and just trying to wrapped my head around it all.
