Have been dealing with progressively worse symptoms from mitral valve prolapse for over 5 years. My condition is congenital and the symptoms have included more severe Afib. Symptoms have been controllable using meds until in August when I had my first cardioversion. An echo and TEE later and my issue has advanced and surgery is necessary now.
