About Me

My Full Monty Heart surgery was completed on Jan. 29th by the esteemed Dr.Gerdisch and his incredible team. It certainly takes a lot out of you, but I was released from the hospital on Feb. 3rd and returned home Feb.7th. It'll be a long road back, but I'm very grateful to all who helped to make it possible. Dr. G's skills and heavy emphasis on ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) to include Rigid Sternal Fixation were amazing additions to his program. I'm eternally thankful and hopeful for the future.
