I was diagnosed in 2014. I always thought I had anxiety until my new GP found my heart murmur. I ended up going through all the tests in Boise where I reside, but not one doctor knew what to do with my heart because there are too many additional factors that don't add up. I went to the mayo clinic in jan 2015 and they were confused as well. Now my left ventricle has enlarged so much that we are looking at irreversible heart damage. We are just hoping that doing this surgery will make the LV go down and improve my quality of life. Right now normal things are hard for me. I am 22 years old and I wear a heart monitor. I also suffer from two autoimmune diseases and chronic pain which may be connected to my heart. I want to have kids soon and be a mom and I can't with my heart problem. I just want a normal life.
