About Me

Hey everyone! I am a 49 year old fifth grade educator from Delaware. Born with BAV and Aortic Stenosis. My last visit to my cardiologist for a routine echo showed an aortic aneurysm. He recommended I meet with a surgeon to discuss a plan moving forward. I meet with him for the first time next Friday. He comes HIGHLY recommended. I have known this day was coming my entire life, it has always hovered in the back of my mind, an annoying specter I could quiet down, but never make go away. I honestly don't know how to feel as I sit here. I am glad I found this community.
