I have a question. My aorta is in the moderate stage. At what size does the aorta have to get to before they do surgery? I am still asymptomatic.

That would be a good question for your cardiologist. For me, my stenosis was so bad the aortic valve's opening was about the size of an M & M when it should be the size if a half dollar. If yours is moderate, I'm sure they will probably watch it... Read more.
