Just a little over two months since surgery to remove the wires and my scar is healing wonderfully! :)

Looks great and so glad you're more comfortable without the closing wires. Once your bone has healed, they probably don't have any function.

Wow so they didn't have to open you up fully to get them out? That is crazy that you had to deal with that but hope you feel much relief after you're all healed.

Mia, your story continues to be so interesting - and educational. Glad they were able to remove the sternal wire without problems. Who would have thought they would break? Wishing you the best dealing with the myocardial bridging issue.
