One year post Ross Procedure with Dr. Paul Stelzer in New York - I'd have to say my scar is looking quite nice! Hard to believe it's been a year. I am feeling very blessed and thankful for this being behind me. Prayers to all of you in the waiting... Read more.

I had my mitral valve repaired January 2014 and a second open heart surgery for mitral valve replacement August 19th 2016. I've had issues with heart beat in the 160's which resulted in a trip to the ED then admitted to the hospital to start a new med. A few... Read more.

So proud of hard Katie worked to make the teams! Trying to remind myself that if I work really hard recovering - maybe I can make it to the State Competition the end of Oct. ?!?!
