My sister and I at rehab. She's 17 yrs older than me and had her mitral valve replaced 5 weeks before I had mine repaired.

Sister support! The best! My sister didn't need the surgery but rented me a recliner, which is great!

One of my brothers is 5 years older, and had his mitral valve repaired 4 years before I did. He also did really well.

Rob, those are flowers in the back. I have wonderful family and friends. I think the staff enjoyed them as much as I did (except the aide who was allergic). My hospital uses a bear instead of a heart pillow-Sir Coff-a-lot

You will enjoy being home knowing you are in recovery mode. Rest , take your meds. And walk. You'll be surprised at how you feel by week 5

Wow! Great news. There's no place like home. Home is where the heart is. Well, you get the picture.😊 Btw, love the Teddy bear! Great photo. Glad you're doing well Lisa. All the best in your recovery. You're well on your way to getting better. God bless!
