Once those post op bumps get ironed out, it'll be smooth sailing for you. I look forward to read of your continued progress.
Looking great, Jose! I would love to read the rest of your post - the heart warriors from the medical profession always have very interesting insights about their experiences. One minor downside of this site is that there's limited space for the narrative when you add a picture - it... Read more.

This was my first post op day. The smile may have been influenced by some dilaudid. The surgery went well Dr Doolhab was able to get things done via a 3 inch incision in my upper chest wall. The most uncomfortable thing was the chest tube . Man that hurt.
Looking great Jose!!! Hope your at home for recovery now.
The chest tubes are from hell! Glad you are feeling well Jose.
Great news! Glad to see you on the road to recovery. Stay strong!!

In with a new Richards bioprosthetic valve
Wow, that is intricate looking. I'm honored they named it after me. Your smile tells the story.
Lol! Sorry Richard I guess some loss of sleep has fogged my mind. Any Edwards out there? It's the Edwards Inspiris valve
No problem jose, you sound good now. My middle name is edward so i am still claiming credit. Lol.
Very cool - you wonder who invents this stuff! I had the chance to go to Edwards Patient Day a few years ago, but had to cancel due to a work conflict. Would have loved to have met those brilliant Edwards Lifesciences professionals!
