Diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve many years ago. The aortic aneurysm was diagnosed in January of 2018. Been going to Mayo Clinic in Florida for three years monitoring the condition. On June 30, 2021, was advised that the time had come for my aortic valve replacement and aortic aneurysm repair. My surgery is scheduled for August 16th, 2021. Learned today 8/12/21 that surgery has been postponed as a result of covid. Will update when I know more.
