Oh Deena, how sweet of you. We all want Cassie well again. ❤️

Deena, that is so nice, thank you. She seems a little better today but she was also pumped full of cortisone yesterday. Time will tell. I need this stress after heart surgery. I just turned the kitchen lights off so my 2 girls can get some sleep.

Four weeks post surgery (almost). Happy place!! Can sleep (somewhat) on my side, can sneeze without wincing pain, appetite strong, and most of all, my heart is repaired. Can't wait for cardiac rehab!!! Bring in on!!(waitlisted, due to staff shortages

You look amazing! Congrats!
Looking amazing! I love your little friend. What's their name?
Cheryl- little friend is Maxie. She was my inheritance from my mom. - 26 years old, so like 90 in human years!

Looks like a fort that kids make, but it works for my back pain:). Couldnt take another night of sleeping only on my back. The side pillows let me turn to my side about 30 degrees. So little stress on incision and less on back!

I can't do that, hubby would have no place to sleep
Laughing. Well, maybe one pillow on the side....
Pillow fort in the hospital. Pillow fort at home for the start. I've gotten used to it and may move in permanently.

Hi Deena, I am over a year Post op and I still have my own pillow fort. Glad you are sleeping better. Blessings
I definitely did pillow forts in the hospital!
Deena I do sleep on a wedge with a pillow. BUT I would love to be able to have a pillow at my back so I wouln't be completely flat.
man....I HATED that...darn back pain. I just slept in a recliner to lessen it. Seems like I still have more back pain even 8 mos post op than before. good luck finding the system best for you.
I did the same thing! To this day, I still sleep with a bunch of pillows in a modified 'fort' configuration. Whatever works for you! Sweet dreams! ❤
