If I read it right your surgery was about 2 months ago. Yes my sternal wires bothered me a lot at that time. It will get better.

No.. my surgery was over a year ago. I have been told i need to build up my chest strength. The depression has returned. Iim working through it. I am having a really tough time. Thanks for writing.

Carol Navin , I send you my support. Keep working through it. Depression happens to some even when things go well. After my first surgery I experienced a change in my self perception and worth. I felt vulnerable, fragile. Broken, damaged goods. I wouldn't take my shirt off around people.... Read more.
