Thank you for your well wishes. So sorry to hear that your son-in-law had to go through that, but happy that he is doing well now. I had some symptoms off and on ( shortness of breath and feeling tired most of the time) and became worse as yeas passed. Went to my doctor one day and my doctor heard a murmur in my heart and soon after found about the hole in my heart. Due to the size of the hole I had to do the surgery right away before a chance of having a stroke. Luckily found out before having a stroke. I guess we don’t know how strong we are until we go through something like that in life.
