Anna, I had so many thoughts like that at the beginning of my recovery and even as you know continuing now. I recall my first day of rehab watching a gentleman in his 80's on the treadmill, flabbergasted because I was no where close to doing what he could do... Read more.

Yes, the best advice is that is is a personal journey. We all will heal at our own pace. I used to read these people who walk 5 miles a day within a few weeks and such and it used to bother me that I couldn't. But I finally realized... Read more.
