Hi Meghan! I have been thinking about you and saw you reply to someone else’s message. I am so glad to hear that you are home and recovering. My surgery with Dr Bolling was 18-weeks ago today and you are coming up on your 2-week Thursday. I am here to encourage you and let you know that hopefully every day, week, and month things will continue to improve as you focus on recovery. I am not sure when I will stop thinking of every Tuesday as a “milestone” — similar to not recalling when we stopped telling people how many weeks our baby was old. Every day that passes, I think we will both think less and less about the experience and more and more on a new and appreciated normal. Keep up the good work and continued good health!

Meghan Bridges Hi Jamie! Thanks so much for reaching out. This community is wonderful. I'm getting stronger everyday and looking forward to the milestones for now. I know it's one step closer to feeling good again. It's hard but I knew it would be. I'm happy you are well and feeling good❤️

Dawn Neal Glad your surgery went well! I see we are fellow Michiganders! I was born and raised in Ypsilanti, still have many cousins in your area. I still consider MI my home. I, in fact, went to school at UM and worked there in Pediatrics until moving to MD when I was 40. I have many friends who still work there or recently retired.
