Thinking of you, Heidi. You are almost there and will soon be in recovery. Continue to remind yourself that the surgery has such an incredibly high success rate. You will be okay; and you will be more brave than you think. Once the surgery is over, just remember to ask for whatever you want and any questions that you think of. Don't hesitate.

Dear Heidi ,
Try and eat well . Drink enough water / fluids . Sleep as much as you can . Snooze sometimes if you need to . Feeling very stressed and very worried affects our bodies too and that can add to the physical feeling of fatigue and exhaustion . Spend time daily outdoors in nature and walk as much as you feel able to or drive somewhere green that makes you feel well / happier . Listen to audio books / music to distract yourself and to help you to relax . 
Talking honestly and openly about feeling frightened and knowing that this lovely community will listen and that we understand helps a lot . You are going to be okay
