You sound optimistic! Great that they were able to do the repair! Don't overdo the weights as your body needs time to catch up with the "invasion" it withstood! I am sure you will heal up in no time with your positive attitude guiding you. Take care Donna.

Thank you Janet. All went very well! The surgeon was able to replace the chords and do a solid repair. I am hoping that I don't have to go through this again.

Hi Donna.... Praying for you that tomorrow's surgery is without complications, and that your recovery is steady. I hope you can get a good night's sleep. Soon you will be "on the other side"....with us, who are recovering. God Bless You....

Thank you so much! I'm watching the Hawk's game with my sisters and my mom. I had to stop the lisinopril on Sunday, and my heart is racing. I am hoping it will settle down. Surgery isn't until 11. I am trying to stay calm. Thank you so much!

Maybe try some chamomile tea. It helps you relax, naturally. You are very welcome. Definitely try to stay calm. It will be over before you know it!

Chamomile, and other herbs, may not be recommended prior to surgery. Keep calm and carry on!
