I'm Back T-Shirt for Heart Surgery Patients

For patients going through surgical heart valve procedures, there is no doubt the "I'm Back" reference has special meaning considering our hearts are stopped and restarted during the operation. Plus, the t-shirt is super, super, super soft.

As a heart valve surgery patient himself, Josh makes these t-shirts to help inspire and empower other patients. How great is that?

Josh Makes Shirts, Had Mitral Valve Repair Surgery & Runs Half Marathons!

So you know... Josh had a mitral valve repair surgery performed by Dr. Alfredo Trento at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

I first met Josh earlier this year when he sent me an email about the robotic mitral valve repair video we filmed with Dr. Trento.

Josh wrote to me, "The video you shared gave me amazing comfort as I was prepping for surgery. I must have watched it a hundred times before the surgery. The way Dr. Trento describes the procedure put my mind at ease. Surely, you understand on how valuable the heart valve community is. From a patient's perspective, it was truly a divine gift. No 43-year old, who was training for a half marathon, is expecting to be told, 'Your valve is blown and it needs repair.' But, Dr. Trento was the Man. His talent and skill as well as his bedside manner is without parallel."
