Yesterday I was able to meet another HV sister warrior in person!! Alina and I have supported each other through our journeys since 2016. It was lovely to spend some time with Alina and her husband who came to Michigan to visit family. I’m really glad we can make it happen.

So you know, when I started this website all the way back in 2006, I never imagined that patients would actually meet in-person. That said, this is extraordinary to see.

So! I know that in my original journal I posted a picture of my dog Lola a couple years back. Well, Lola is no longer with me. She crossed rainbow Bridge last fall. However, she sent me a new bundle of fur and I now have Sydney as my partner in crime. Sydney is a rescue three years old rescued from the streets of Detroit. She’s a sweetheart. She’s come along a long way since I adopted her in January. However, she does have separation anxiety, which is trying at times but we are making it work.
