Do you mean tissue valve verses mechanical valve?

This very much depends on the valve issue and placement. It is always preferable to use existing tissue and "repair" where possible. In some locations mechanical replacements are preferable to cadaver tissue when repair is not an option. Ask surgeon about this, weigh the pros and cons, and be... Read more.
