May 20 was my 1 year. I didn't post anything for two reasons. 1. I was away on vacation lol 2. I was waiting until June 1 for my follow up with my cardiologist. Good news is, all is well. Homograft and Autograft both doing great. I don't think I... Read more.

Huge congratulations on year one! That first year is a massive milestone. In my experience, time is a great confidence builder, the anxiety eventually takes a back seat to life. Wishing you total peace of mind moving forward!
Since you are 1 year in with everything looking ok, you are doing great! For me, it's like electronics, either it fails within 1 year or it will last for a long time. It seems you are in the "last for a long time" category as most people are.

Congratulations! It's always fantastic to hear good news from your cardiologist. 🙌
Grateful for your first anniversary and good visit with cardiologist. Congratulations

I had a similar case of having PVCs about 4 months after surgery. But a change in medication fixes the problem. Scott, I hope it can be worked out with medication for you as well.
If any doubts, and it seems there are doubts, stay on the blood thinner. I am on it constantly despite having the appendage removed. Blood thinners can be a bit of a pain (frequent nose bleeds, bruising, etc) but they can reduce the chances of blood clots (the very one... Read more.
