Welcome!
I found out I have a PFO after surgery, too, but it was not repaired during my surgery.
May I ask if your doctor's think that it has anything to do with your stroke post surgery?

Docs said stroke was most likely due to valve replacement. Pfo was discovered a week after surgery but they didn’t close it as it was small.

Thanks for sharing about your PFO. I wondered if sometimes they don't repair but haven't seen anyone else on here mention it.

What did your doctor say about your brain aneurysm? Do you have to follow up on it regularly?

Aneurysm is small but in a sensitive place. I would assume that anywhere on my brain would be sensitive. He wants an mri every 6months to see if it’s growing.

You and me both. What makes it worrysome is my mom died of a brain aneurysm at age 41. Doc says it only slightly makes it more of a chance it will happen to me.
