got the TMVR for my mitral! I had my mitral valve replaced transcather on Jan7. Went well. The only concern is I have to be on babyaspirin. . I get GI bleeds very easily from AVMs in my small intestines.. already had one hospitalization since TMVR and hgb got very... Read more.

You are in a tough situation with the history of GI bleeds. Hoping things go well for you and you stabilize quickly!

It's a blessing to be able to have the less invasive Mitral valve procedures, but you're right about the need for long term data! I'm getting Mitra-clip vs the TMVR, and I keep wondering how that will affect my future options with mitral valve too. Good luck. I hope everything... Read more.

Had the TMVR yesterday. New mitral valve doing well. Home today. Yay! it was a hard day yesterday. Not as easy as I thought. But I didn't have to have open heart this time!

Have you gotten the Mitris Risilia Edwards valve? I'm supposed to have TMVR this week.
