Steven Liebowitz Pat, I had cardiac ablation surgery in 1995 to correct my super ventricular tachycardia (SVT). The surgery worked well until I had three SVT attacks this year. During follow up examinations, my cardiologist diagnosed me with a severely leaking aortic valve, which was replaced September 27th of this year.

Andy Bangasser I just had mine in March which was perfect. It’s nice enough to walk and be outside yet you have March Madness, The Master’s, NHL playoffs, start of baseball, and here in MN, high school state hockey tourney. With all the down time and resting there was not much boredom!

But in North Carolina is probably one of the hardest state to figure out. The seasons can run together. Between Spring and Summer it may only be 2 weeks. Sometimes we only have the month of February that is cold. My surgery date is June 28th and I'm dreading the heat and humidity.

Helen Daw I live in NJ and decided to have my surgery in Feb. I wanted it as close to Valentines Day as possible(Feb 13th). I also suffer from bad allergies in the spring and fall and wanted to heal a little bit before allergy season starts in April. Did not want to keep sneezing and causing pain. Little did I know that we had the worst flu season. Thank God I didn't get it. My main reason was my severe allergy

I know I've had issue with heat since my surgery so maybe think of late September -October since we get some really nice days where you can walk outside.

Don Faust I had mine in April, the weather is mild and not to hot. I would do it when your weather is mild and not a time if you allergies when they flare up. You do not want to sneeze or cough to much after surgery.
