Thank you so much everyone 💗 My surgery went well(June16, 2023). But I stayed in the hospital for 19 days 😪due to I needed a pacemaker (was implanted on July 3rd and I was discharged on July 4th!) was very hard for me, but I am doing very well! Working,... Read more.

Everything was well with my first appointment with Dr Adams and Dr Patel @ Mount Sinai hospital. They set up my surgery-mitral valve stenosis to June 15th!

Going to Mount Sinai for my first appointment with Dr Adams! My diagnosis is Mitral valve stenosis severe

Totally understand your anxiety, since I felt that way also about my own "adventure". Like Klara said, you can have confidence in your doctor and care. You can get through this!
It's normal to feel nervous especially if the diagnosis is a surprise. Trust the doctors. Godspeed.
