Hi All! I just spent the past week in the hospital for a spontaneous pneumothorax. 2 different chest tubes later, the pneumo resolved, and I was discharged home yesterday, Saturday 8/15/20. Hi Missy. Im sorry you experienced a setback. In the first six weeks after my surgery, I had a slew of setbacks so I know how it feels. Be thankful you are ok now. God bless you. Stay strong.

Hi Missy, glad you're back home! I can understand why you feel dejected. Maybe you can think of it as getting one more thing out of the way now rather than have it rear its ugly head in a year or so...after you're completely recovered from the mitral valve repair.... Read more.

Thanks so much y'all! I'm finding it's easy to get down, but trying not to stay there. I keep reminding myself you're alive, you had a successful surgery, and this to shall pass 🙂

Sorry to hear about yr setback. I had many and was back in hospital a few days after discharge with a 4th pleural effusion. This stuff happens and it's hard. It's unfair but there it is. I feel for you. Take it easy and let yr body heal. Everyone has... Read more.
