That was 3 years ago to repair aortic aneurism and aortic valve. Fast forward to today and looks like they are going to have to do a "redo" as aortic valve and mitral valve moderate to severe regurgitation. Not looking forward to this again :-(
I am so sorry to hear that. Any idea why that has happened?

I'm sorry to hear you must have another surgery. I understand why you don't want to go through it again. Try to stay strong and upbeat. When is the surgery going to be?

Sad to say a lot of times valve repairs don't last long, I don't envy you but you have done it once and you can do it again 👍 stay strong 🙏
Thank you for the concern and responses. Met with another surgeon Monday and recommending replacing both aortic & mitral with mechanical valves. Figured I was healthy enough to withstand another sternotomy and confidant the mech valves would be last procedure I'd need in my lifetime. Blood thinners of course but... Read more.
Since we had an overseas vacation already booked, surgery later part of Sept or early Oct this year.
