During routine physical in March of 2016, the PA examining me noticed heart murmur. Never been told that. Scheduled an Echo that confirmed aortic aneurism and aortic valve & mitral valve deficiencies. Open hear surgery in Aug of 2016 to repair aneurism and aortic valve. Decided not to do mitral valve hoping heart would remodel (shrink back to normal size) and no surgery in future necessary. Fast forward to 2019 and recommended another open heart surgery as repair is severely regurgitating and mitral has also worsened.
