Hey there.. sorry I have not been on in a while. My Surgery had been moved to this Thursday the18th, but when I woke up this morning to a sore throat i made a doctors appointment with my cardiologist first thing. Looks like my surgery will be moved to next... Read more.

Do they think you might have a viral infection? I too had a sore throat & sneezing (feeling bit flu). The saline through oxygen mask they used on me in Hospital helped. My Surgeon wasn't worried, she didn't believe it was anything like an infection or serious. Wishing you all... Read more.

I am new to the site and scheduled for mitral valve repair surgery in February. I am located in Tampa Florida and was curious if anybody on this site has had any experience with Dr. Robert Hooker with Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery? Thank you in advance for any insight!

Although I haven't had experience with any American Doctor, I've had experience with Mitral Valve Repair Surgery.

People in that area seem to go to Dr. Accola at Florida Hospital in Orlando.

I have had no experience with them, but I had mitral valve repair in August. Six months ago! More than glad to answer any questions. Best of luck to you.
