My surgery on May 4 went so well, Praise God! I was flabbergasted. I am grateful for everyone's prayers and concerns and was praying for success for Scott's surgery on May 6. I got released from the hospital yesterday to my brother and his wife's home. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Patrick McCarthy and his team and staff at Northwestern Hospital. I haven't been overnight in the hospital since 1965 but have visited a lot of friends and relatives over the years. This journal, and people's ideas, suggestions, helped me a lot and Adam's book and guide. The grace I was shown and professional care and compassion at Northwestern still boggles my mind. Now time to follow recovery directions.
