On Saturday, June 13th, my husband, son and I participated in the Bike MS Ride the Vine charity ride. My husband Mike and I biked 63 miles and our son Michael biked 100+ miles. There were ALOT of HILLS and it was very challenging, but we did it. I feel so proud to have accomplished this only 8 months after my surgery. Feeling stronger everyday!

Well I thought all was going well until this month. I am 5 months post op from my mitral valve repair, and I've been having dizziness just about everyday and at odd times (driving, sitting eating dinner, during a workout, etc), and I've also had headaches and floaters in my eyes! Is this normal to have started 5 months after surgery? I have an appointment with my GP next week, but somehow I feel like he's going to blow it off. Hmmmm
