I concur with Ana. You must feel comfortable with your doctor and with your journey. I got 4 opinions- all were the same but at least I felt I was well informed and confident in my surgery. My 2nd opinion led me to a new cardiologist whom I love. Definitely... Read more.

Lola - I agree with Ana and Rose about multiple opinions. But, if you are a candidate for TAVR, you will be facing a much less invasive procedure and a quick recovery than surgical correction would require. Wishing you all the best with your testing and research. You might want... Read more.

Hi Lola, I also had bicuspid valve with Aortic stenosis. I was told I was not a candidate for TAVR from my cardiologist and two reputable heart surgeons mainly because of Bicuspid valve.
