Well, this post comes one year after my surgery (bovine valve for aorta). Open heart bypass to replace my bi-cuspid aortic valve went with no complications. My year was uneventful and rehab ongoing. At first I was so shocked how delicate I was after surgery, always been a busy girl, rarely sitting idle so I felt pretty deflated at first. By 3 months I can say I was a lot better and healing well. One year later and dealing with Covid-19 I was very scared to go out anywhere as I was now high risk but all has been good, healed and optimistic.. Very happy I did the surgery and all reports from cardiologist have been perfect.

I've been busy recovering. This is my second post surgery update. Hoping everyone is well. Feeling fantastic, symptom free for both heart and covid19. Rib cage is still quite sore in the pectoral area but getting better every day. Sneezing 🤧 is now happening with no pain. (Worst pain I experienced since surgery)... Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Cheers
