I have BAV with an aortic aneurysm. My left atrium is also severely enlarged. I will be having surgery in about three weeks. I have been on Bystolic and Lisinopril. My doctor is changing me from Bystolic to Bisoprolol. Has anyone been on Bisoprolol versus metroprolol?

Anyone from California that had aortic valve and ascending aorta aneurysm surgery? I am looking for a good surgeon and hospital. Any recommendations / experiences would be appreciated.

I can highly recommend Dr. Anees Razzouk at Loma Linda University Hospital. He did my On-x mechanical aortic valve on Feb 10 and my recovery has gone amazingly well. I did not have an aneurysm, but one of my roommates had a very large aneurysm that Dr. Razzouk successfully repaired.
