Hello everyone! I’m back hahaha! I’ve been busy the last months start 2023 because I became a member here in Heart Warrior of the Philippines❤️huh, so many Filipinos too are suffering from heart problem😌 Financial problem too.. not easy for my kababayans💙🙏 Thanks God, my 1 year anniversary with my new heart with mechanical valve tomorrow March 10. Thankful and grateful. Thanks to this website, to Adam Pick and to all my friends here. I’ve learned a lot from here from your shared experiences. Open heart surgery is not a joke… for me it is a hard process that no one wants to experience. But because we wanted to live more, we go into it🙏Thanks to all doctors, the medicines and our family🙏🥰God Bless you all!

I just want to asked if you guys experience headache during your healing and recovery? I experienced it more often that is why I stop what ever I am doing and take a rest. I am 9 months post op double valve replaced and taking warfarin for life. Thank you for your comment and shared experience. 🥰

today is my birthday Dec. 6 🎊🎂🎄🤍💛 Thanks be to God for another year of existence. My prayers and wishes for my complete healing, to stay positive in life, to restore my health in order to give love and service to my family and to others.
9 months post op this coming Dec. 10💙 beside me is my younger son🥰
stay safe to all, take care of yourself. Keep in touch😊 my check up 2d echo after 6 months on Friday, chest xray and blood chem with INR. I hope everything will be okay🙏

Hey folks! My heart valve community💙I hope you’re all doing fine and to those on going full recovery like me, enjoy and stay safe always. Just be happy, avoid stress, think positive thoughts.. life must go on. If in doubt about your feelings, look for someone who can talk or discuss. Let us all be patient with ourselves😃Last weekend, I was able to travel for 6 hrs by land, visited the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio city. I enjoyed cold weather at 15 degrees at night to 23 degrees day time. I did a lot of walking😃and I feel good, my heart works well💙🙏Me at 8 months post op, double valve replaced💙❤️

#24weeks post op, double valve replaced💙

Hello everyone! Just an update from yesterday’s INR result of mine at 1.5 from 2.0 last June 8.. it’s too hard to maintain the range of 2.0 to 3.0…less eating foods with vitamin K because I don’t want my cardio to increase again my warfarin dosage, currently at 2.5mg to 3.75 every other day

December before Christmas when I was diagnosed having Rheumatic heart disease😌I experienced heart palpitations(fast heart beat at 235bpm and chest pain).RHD is a condition in which the heart valves have been permanently damaged by rheumatic fever. The heart valve damage may start shortly after untreated or under-treated streptococcal infection such as strep throat or scarlet fever and it was acquired when I was a child😢It was a roller coaster emotions, anxiety and sadness to my family. But then, me and my family keep the faith to God and trust the medical science. Severe heart valve required a major open heart surgery to replace the damage valve...and in my case two valves were already damage😢the mitral and aortic valve.January 2022 was a series of check up and medication to avoid any complication while waiting for the schedule. Finally, we decided to proceed the heart surgery at the Philippine heart center in QUezon city Manila Philippines.  Month of February, the preparation and one month funding for my heart surgery. 1M was really a huge amount😌with God all things are possible🙏March 7, I was admitted at PHC, the next day was the angiogram procedure and March 10, 2022, 7:30am up to 2pm, I entrust my heart, my life to our medical doctors at PHC with faith to our almighty God that He was the Great physician🙏💙I have been in the ICU for 4 nights and 5 days..Prayer answered when I transferred from ICU to regular room the day before my husband’s birthday last March 15. Another 9 days at the recovery room due to irregular heart beat😌It was again a roller coaster of emotions between me and my husband because we are two human with one decision💞We cried..I already entrust to him our sons that whatever happens to me I know how responsible and loving father he is❤️.. but God really loves us💙The healing of God, the miracle of God through the great Doctors and all the medical staff from day 1 until I finally out in the hospital was really a miracle. God answered prayers and wishes🙏 I learned to Be patient.March 23, before the 15th birthday of my bunso was another wish granted🙏. I was released from the hospital. I continue my medication at home, still in sinus tachycardia (fast heart beat), until Good friday April 14 God made a miracle in my heart❤️my fast heart beat came to an end..It became stable and I didn’t take the beta blocker to slow the heart beat, truly God is working in the way we can not see...on his own perfect time🙏Thank you so much papa God in Jesus mighty name🙏and to my husband from day 1 that I brought to ER to the day I went back to the company for my medical clearance, truly in sickness and in health💞. I would like also to thank Dra. Pua’s team at PHC. My Surgeon- Dr. Aquileo Rico and Dr. Belmonte, my Anesthesiologist-Dra. Jacildo and my Cardiologist-Dra. Emmett Vi Ladlad-Pua and the rest of medical staff from day 1 at PHC till I released after 17 days..thank you so much😊in pain and tears, but over-all a successful one🙏Special thanks also to my blood donors from ATEC Cabuyao and GMT engineering services in Bulacan. To My immediate family and support system emotionally and spiritually( my sons, my parents and my mother n-law, my siblings, my brother and sisters n-law), Alvarez Clan, Peña family, my Amkor and Maxim angels, friends and co-workers, my Allegro test family, my bff and friends, prayer groups, my SJA batch 94 group, to Rev. Father Jovin Grimaldo for his continuous prayer intention up to my recovery months, thank you po for all your prayers🙏🙏God Bless you all😇😇...And to ATEC management team, thank you so much in helping up my husband💙special thanks too to my AMPI test family, the HR team and the people behind the scene who help to complete my 1M funding, God Bless all your good heart💖to God be the glory and honor.
