Hello everyone! I’m back hahaha! I’ve been busy the last months start 2023 because I became a member here in Heart Warrior of the Philippines❤️huh, so many Filipinos too are suffering from heart problem😌 Financial problem too.. not easy for my kababayans💙🙏 Thanks God, my 1 year anniversary with my new heart with mechanical valve tomorrow March 10. Thankful and grateful. Thanks to this website, to Adam Pick and to all my friends here. I’ve learned a lot from here from your shared experiences. Open heart surgery is not a joke… for me it is a hard process that no one wants to experience. But because we wanted to live more, we go into it🙏Thanks to all doctors, the medicines and our family🙏🥰God Bless you all!

Lilian Peña Oh thank you so much🥰I felt so much love and support from all of your heart warming greetings and wishes. I hope and pray that all of you are doing well😊 Occassionally, I feel the pain in my chestbone but my doctor explained it to me not to worry so much, still part of healthy nerves healing. My INR, at 3.0 still on the range. Thank you guys, you’re an inspiration😇❤️💙

Dear heart warriors!
today is my birthday Dec. 6 🎊🎂🎄🤍💛 Thanks be to God for another year of existence. My prayers and wishes for my complete healing, to stay positive in life, to restore my health in order to give love and service to my family and to others.
9 months post op this coming Dec. 10💙 beside me is my younger son🥰
stay safe to all, take care of yourself. Keep in touch😊 my check up 2d echo after 6 months on Friday, chest xray and blood chem with INR. I hope everything will be okay🙏

We need to look great and think healthy everyday to avoid anxiety attack. My heart is okay now, my only worries are my chestbone and aching back. Once in a while I take biogesic for pain reliever. Walking too helps a lot to strengthen the over all mind and body😊

Hey folks! My heart valve community💙I hope you’re all doing fine and to those on going full recovery like me, enjoy and stay safe always. Just be happy, avoid stress, think positive thoughts.. life must go on. If in doubt about your feelings, look for someone who can talk or discuss. Let us all be patient with ourselves😃Last weekend, I was able to travel for 6 hrs by land, visited the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio city. I enjoyed cold weather at 15 degrees at night to 23 degrees day time. I did a lot of walking😃and I feel good, my heart works well💙🙏Me at 8 months post op, double valve replaced💙❤️

Thank you Susan, yes we need to to think and feel good everyday for fast recovery though there are days really not feeling okay, we should not stay to that mindset.. we need to move on, pray and fill our thoughts of positive things and event to happen😃
Yes Patsy, it was a cool weather no aircon at night😃I heard my valve ticking, hahaha!

@Howard, don’t worry po, your heart rate will be back to normal. Mine, it takes 6 weeks post op before it goes to normal that’s why I take beta blocker metoprolol that time.
