"I am a survivor: fighting heart disease, one day at a time " It's time to Celebrate: Today, I received my echocardiogram test results the test took place on this past Tuesday the mechanical valve ( 13 years old) in my heart is functioning properly. I give God all the honor, glory and praise. Dear family and friends. I appreciate all of your support and prayers. My open heart surgery ( heart valve replacement) took place on February 12th, 2009. I thank God for giving me a second chance at life. Despite the health setbacks that have taken place over the past 13 years, I remain committed to raising awareness, sharing my heart testimony and honoring every family affected by heart disease and stroke.
