Hi guys! Just a quick update. It's been 7 months since my mitral valve repair. It's been so much longer than I had hoped to regain endurance and strength. I, like everyone here, have had major ups and downs. Two weeks ago, though, I completed a half marathon. I used to do a few of them a year and RUN, so I had hoped to run this as well, but I have been able to run very little. I ended up running about 75% and am more than happy with that. I also started back also my job as a fitness instructor. I can't do everything yet, but I can try my best to motivate others to try their best. Keep healing everyone!
