I had an aortic valve replaced by open heart surgery on May 5, 2022 at UC Davis Medical Center. I'm almost complete with cardio rehabilitation. My physical endurance is a 1000% improved compared to pre surgery.
Hi Jeffry, That's very encouraging. I'm having the same surgery next month on October 10th. Feedback like yours helps me cope better in this pre-surgery period. Thanks Rick

Had my six week anniversary on my aortic valve replacement. Now I'm getting ready to start cardiac rehabilitation. It's been very smooth with no complications during the post surgery period. Greatly appreciate your blogs and web site Adam!

You will enjoy rehab, as it will give you more confidence and strength.
Great news. Keep up the good work with rehab. I can't wait to say I am 6 weeks post op! ❤️
The rehab is helpful just to give you confidence that you're not over-stressing yourself. With proper guidance you will exercise more or harder than you would otherwise have felt co for table doing. That was the case for me anyhow. Congrats on the good recovery so far.
