After being at the Mayo Clinic since last Thursday, I finally get to go home today. feel so blessed and grateful for my surgeons, doctors, nurses, family, friends and my special guardian angels to help me get through this. I'm still very sore and tired but so ready to start... Read more.

Felcia So glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. This group is very special. Thank you to everyone. I will be having mitral and aortic valve replacement at Mayo on September 7. Looking forward to this being over.

My surgery date has been postponed by one day. One extra day to get things ready and really be prepared.

After waiting for over 5 years, I finally have been given a surgery date . . . May 23, 2018. I thought I was so ready for this but am now getting a little anxious being that it's really going to happen. I'm so thankful for being part of this... Read more.

Hi Felicia, I had heart surgery at Mayo just a month ago. It gave me some peace of mind that it is such an excellent hospital. I hope it gives you that sense too.

Pryaers for your upcoming surgery. You posted this on the day I had my OHS for mitral valve repair. Here I am 5 weeks later and ready for rehab. So hang in there it is not too bad.
