Curious as to whether iPhones are allowed in the OR and if a picture could be taken of my heart. Thanks in advance, Craig

A friend of mine had someone in the OR take pictures for her during her heart transplant. You can ask, and see what happens. Good luck!

Personally, I think I'd pass out if I saw pictures of me being operated on. But all they can do is say no to you.

I have to have aortic valve replacement surgery. I'm in central MA, does anyone live near me that has had this operation that I could talk with in person? Thanks, Craig

Hi Craig, I live in RI. I also need a AVR and my surgery is scheduled for April 10th at Brigham and Women's. It was a tough thing to hear that I needed this operation. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
