Chose Dr Westbrook with Catholic Medical Center in Manchester NH. My replacement valve will be the Edwards Inspiris Resilia valve. Access will be a partial sternotomy. Date is set for July 12. Hi Dan, What sold me was the Resilia valve is more resistant to calcium, so may last longer than other.tissue valves and it is built to accept another valve, if and when another replacement is needed, can be TAVR.

Wishing you well for your surgery. I am 64 and had OHS with Full Sternotomy 12 weeks ago and am feeling fantastic. They repaired my mitral valve with a ring and 8 new chords. Recovery with the full was not bad at all so I hope you the best with... Read more.

Thanks Paul! I would like to say that I have good genes! Except for the darn bicuspid aortic valve🙃
