I shad a successful mitral valve repair / Maze / and atrial appendage removal in January 17 2020
I'm in stepdown and patiently waiting for 22 in of fluid to exit my blown up body. It affects my walking and hurts a lot; hurts more than the incision!

Lasix and time worked! I was so swollen, I couldn't lift my legs, and my skin felt so painful like it was being pulled from my muscles and tendons. I'm in cardiac rehab now, and feel like a weak shadow of myself. I can hardly wait to find my strength... Read more.
