This is my first post here. I've been reading all the encouraging words and great tips. It's just about my turn. I'm 70 years old and have Mitral valve prolapse with severe regurgitation. I've known about it for several years, but recently have just begun to see some occasional symptoms. I will be having it done by Dr Vaughn Starnes at the USC Keck Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr Starnes aid he can repair the valve with minimally invasive technique. I would love to hear from anyone else who has had similar valve surgery at that facility. I've heard good things, but no first hand experience. Thanks! Alan
