About Me (In My Own Words)

I am a 62-year-old, slim, non-smoker and fit male from Ontario, Canada. I was diagnosed with BAV about thirty years ago and have had yearly echos. One year ago, I was informed that my valve had deteriorated to the point where I am now a candidate for surgery. While my valve condition is severe, my symptoms remain moderate.
