About Me

I'm 59 years old. I've had mitral regurgitation for years--trivial, then moderate, then moderate/severe, then moderate again, and then on my spring 2021 echo, severe. Transesophageal echo (TEE) confirmed it. Chose the top heart hospital in Arizona, then chose a surgeon there who specializes in minimally invasive procedures. The procedure went well--and I have nothing but praise for the surgeon, her team of assistants, and all the nurses and employees of Mayo. I'm very happy with how it all went.
