Send Walter a NoteAbout Me
In 1998, after a routine check-up with a cold my doctor noticed a severe murmur. It was new doctor and she thought, you better get an echocardiogram done. I did and found the valve to required replacement. I had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, and recovered. I moved to the Pacific NW shortly after. It's been great living in Portland, but recently had a check-up and found out sadly the valve is in need of replacement again. My homograft worked flawlessly for 19 years. I am still asymptomatic. Trying to decide which valve to go with, but leaning towards bio prosthetic.
