Send Vince a NoteAbout Me
Hello. I am a 43 year old proud father of four happy husband. I am a respiratory therapist that was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve when I was 29 years old. I also have an aortic aneurysm that was discovered at that time. My valve and aneurysm had been pretty stable until the last 6 months. At six months ago they discovered that my aneurysm had increased in size to 4.7 cm and that my valve was moderately stenotic. Since then I have had another Echo and Cat Scan within the last month and my aneurysm has increased to 5 cm and my valve is severely stenotic. I have developed shortness of breath with any exertion, dizziness, palpitations, and angina. I have surgery this Friday to replace my aortic valve with a mechanical valve and to have the aneurysm repaired.
